Letha M. Mills, 89 a lifelong Temperance, MI resident, died Thursday, July 28, 2016, in her home. Born March 10, 1927, in Temperance, MI, she was the daughter of Harold and Flossie (Pickard) Eighmey, Sr. A 1945 graduate of the former Temperance High School, she married Earl R. Mills on July 14, 1945 in Grace United Methodist Church, where Letha had been a member over 70 years. He preceded her in death on Sept. 12, 2004. She was a member of the Red Hat Society and enjoyed bowling, roller skating, the Detroit Tigers, and U of MI Football.
Letha is survived by her loving children, Linda Fruchey and Randy (Sandy Wood) Mills; brother, Harold (Donna) Eighmey, Jr.; sister, Joan (Roland) Eisenman; 4 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 3-8 pm, Monday, August 1, 2016, at the Michael W. Pawlak Funeral Home, 1640 Smith Rd. (at Jackman), Temperance, MI. Funeral services will be Tuesday, August 2, 2016, at 11:00 am at Grace United Methodist Church, 1463 Samaria Rd., Samaria, MI 48177, where she will lie in state after 10:00 am.
